Bonita Edit —The Brand Story
I was born to a mother who moves through life like a gentle breeze - graceful in her attires, elegant in her style, and so effortless in her handling of struggles that those around her see only her confident self and the rich fabrics of her well-crafted outfits. She taught me to embrace the full spectrum of life’s colors, rather than confining myself to a monochrome world.
From her, I inherited a love for textures. Aware of how sensitive my skin was, she would always choose the softest fabrics for me, ensuring that no seam ever left a mark. With her radiant smile, she would call out, “Touch the petals of this flower, Aiman! Feel how you can trace its veins.”
Over the years, that tender attention nurtured my love for art. My passion became creating intricate characters, capturing every hair, every wrinkle, every detail with devotion. I would sit for hours, perfecting each line, losing myself in the beauty of detail.
And then, my art and imagination found their perfect companion in the craftsmanship of my Nani’s karigars. For an annual play where I had to portray an alien, we came together to create a masterpiece. What emerged was not just a costume, but a vision - woven with creativity, skill, and persistence. That evening, under the stage lights, I became the star of the show, with voices all around praising the originality of my craft and the determination behind it.
And a dream was born – I am all of 15 and a few months as I write this – but my dream cannot wait.
I have truly been blessed. Momani is not just the wife of a man who has always been my strength—my Mamoo—she has been my friend, my greatest support, and my partner-in-crime when it comes to experimenting with new recipes. To me, she is nothing less than a mother—fiercely protective, endlessly appreciative, and always standing by me, even to the point of embarrassing me with her praises in front of everyone. :)
Momani—Nehan to everyone else—is a woman of brilliance. With a degree in Mathematics and an MBA from MANIT, she embodies both intellect and grace. While she is the most patient mother to three boisterous boys, she is also an artist at heart, with beautiful handwriting that feels like art in itself. Alongside her creative flair, she carries a sharp business acumen and a resourceful approach that makes her truly remarkable.
